H&R Lowering Springs And Spacers For Mercedes-AMG C63 S H&R transforms the strongest Mercedes C-Class ever into a ‘low-flyer’ For the suspension specialists at H&R the bar cannot be high enough: their recent challenge was the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. The strongest C-Class of all time comes with a V8 biturbo engine that generates 510 hp and impressive 700 Nm – and crosses the 100 km/h mark in 4 seconds. So, everything included? Not at all, was the H&R team’s verdict and developed sport springs especially designed for the high-performance C-Class. The H&R components are optimally tuned to the standard shock absorbers and lower the AMG’s centre of gravity by around 20 mm. The result: an even more athletic look and some extra lateral dynamics. And that is exactly what the suspension specialists at H&R do best, because since 1998 they have been technology partner of the DTM Team HWA that stands behind the successes the DTM Mercedes AMG C-Coupés have achieved in the racing series. Additionally, H&R has developed “Trak+” wheel spacers for the C63 AMG, giving the C-Class an even more individual touch as they allow to perfectly align the precious sport wheels with the contours of the wheel arches.
