For the BMW F20 models from October 2011, the coilover promises a full lowering on the front axle by 45-70mm and on the rear axle by 35-70mm. The 2WD models from 2012 and later receive a lowering on the front axle by 25-45mm and on the rear axle by 15-35mm.
The lowered center of gravity of the BMW F20 reduces body movement in fast corners or in sudden evasive maneuvers. In addition, the stepless lowering optimizes the position of the wheels in the wheel arch and ensures better road holding.
The minimized distance does not limit the long-distance driving comfort or the payload and gives the BMW an even sportier appearance.
